RYAN BECK & CO. OPENS NEW OFFICE IN NEW JERSEY

FLORHAM PARK, NJ – September 26, 2006 – Ryan Beck & Co. today announced that it has expanded its presence in New Jersey, opening a retail branch office in Roxbury.  The new office joins seven other New Jersey locations and continues the firm’s plans to grow its retail branch network.
 
The new office, run by First Vice President and Resident Manager Michael Staufenberger, is expected to house six financial consultants and additional support personnel. Staufenberger had previously worked in Ryan Beck’s Roseland, NJ office as Assistant Manager. The new office is located at 15 Commerce Boulevard – Suite 209/275 Route 10 East, Succasunna, NJ 07876 and is reachable at 866 307 4779.
 
“Opening this new office marks a continuation of our plan to expand our branch office system as attractive opportunities arise,” said Alan Brautigam, Director of Branch Offices at Ryan Beck.  “Given the strong population growth in the western and northwestern portion of New Jersey, opening in the Roxbury area makes great sense, especially considering our firm’s strong foot print in New Jersey. We look forward to serving investors from this new location.”
 
The growth in the Sussex County area has been especially strong over the last few years, according to Staufenberger, who reports to Roseland branch manager Norm Raymond. He cites the continued movement of homeowners to Sussex and Morris Counties as well as the establishment of many new businesses as evidence of the area’s growing popularity.  “This area is not only an increasingly preferred area for homeownership, but also is an area where people are increasingly finding employment,’ said Staufenberger, who lives in Frelinghuysen Township. “We look forward to working with individuals and businesses in the community.”
