RYAN BECK & CO. APPOINTS GREGORY WINSPER AS FIRM’S DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

FLORHAM PARK, NJ – June 20, 2006 – Ryan Beck & Co. today announced the appointment of Gregory S. Winsper as Senior Vice President and Director of Marketing. In that capacity, he will be responsible for the firm’s overall marketing strategy; internal and external communications; and marketing support of Ryan Beck’s corporate, institutional and individual client groups. He will work out of the firm’s Florham Park headquarters.

Mr. Winsper has more than 20 years of financial marketing experience, most recently having served as Senior Vice President of the Integrated Marketing & Communications group at AXA Financial, a member of the AXA Group, the world's largest insurance company. He began his career with AXA in 1986, and held a series of positions of increasing responsibility at that firm.

In announcing his appointment at Ryan Beck, Chairman & CEO Ben A. Plotkin said, “We are fortunate to have a marketing professional of Greg’s caliber join us.
