RYAN BECK & CO. APPOINTS ROBERT LIMMER TO HEAD BRANCH OFFICES IN NEW YORK DISTRICT

FLORHAM PARK, NJ – June 14, 2006 – Ryan Beck & Co. today announced the appointment of Robert Limmer as Senior Vice President and Director of the firm’s New York District, which includes branch offices in Manhattan and on Long Island; in Hewlett, Great Neck and Uniondale.

Mr. Limmer was most recently associated with Wachovia Securities, and with Prudential Securities prior to its acquisition by Wachovia. For that organization, he served for past 15 years as branch manager of its Madison Avenue complex, encompassing two Manhattan branch offices. He began his career in financial services in 1992 as a financial advisor for Shearson Lehman Brothers.

Mr. Limmer was a multi-year member of Prudential Securities’ Branch Managers Advisory Council as well as its Executive Branch Managers Council. A resident of Closter, New Jersey, he is active in a number of local charities, and currently serves as a sponsor in the Teach for America Corps in New York City.
