RYAN BECK & CO. HIRES PETER KRAMER AS CHICAGO BRANCH MANAGER

FLORHAM PARK, NJ – June 13, 2006 -- Ryan Beck & Co., Inc. today announced that Peter Kramer has joined as branch manager for its Chicago office. “We are pleased to have Peter join our firm to oversee the Chicago branch,” said John Wyllys, Executive Vice President in charge of Ryan Beck’s Private Client Group. “He is a seasoned professional with strong securities industry experience, particularly in the Midwest. We look forward to having him be a part of our team.”

For the last three years, Kramer had been branch manager for UBS Financial Services Inc. in Milwaukee. Earlier, he worked for that firm in Chicago as assistant branch manager. Kramer has held other sales and branch management positions with UBS in Milwaukee, Chicago and New Jersey. Kramer joined UBS Financial Services in Chicago in 1994 as a financial advisor. He holds a B.S. from Loyola University, and resides in the Chicago area with his wife and two children.
