Mr. Battipaglia is Ryan Beck’s Chief Investment Officer and spokesperson on investment policy.

He heads Washington Crossing Advisors which is an investment advisory program offered by Ryan Beck. He maintains offices in Ryan Beck’s Florham Park, New Jersey headquarters and the branch office located in Yardley, Pennsylvania. Mr. Battipaglia is the former Chairman of Investment Policy at Gruntal & Co., L.L.C.

He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Boston College and earned his M.B.A. at the Wharton Graduate School of Business, University of Pennsylvania. Prior to joining Gruntal in 1984, Mr. Battipaglia was a financial analyst for the Exxon Corporation and a securities generalist at Elkins & Co., a division of Prudential Bache. Mr. Battipaglia is featured frequently in national media. Additionally, he speaks regularly with reporters from The NewYork Times, The Wall Street Journal and other publications where his market views are often quoted. In addition, Mr. Battipaglia is a former trustee of the Securities Industry Institute, which is the Security Industry Association’s premier leadership and management education program.
